A/C ambient air temp sensor
I was going to the body man to get the rocker panel fixed on Friday, when I turned the A/C on it displayed 28 degrees on the outside air temp and would not turn on. It's July in Tucson Arizona and it's much hotter than 28 degrees! Has anyone else had this happen to them? Eventually it did register 91 degrees and turned itself on. :confused:

Check the connection and the sensor. It is very easy to remove and unplug, it is under the passenger side of the radiator air intake. Just look under the front of the car and you will see a little black plastic probe sticking out. Open the hood, reach down and find it. To remove, there is one of those push in locking plastic plugs. Reach under the car, squeeze the plug and then push it out of the hole. Then you can lift the sensor out and unplug it.
