There are two of these that go into the Pfadt trans mount that I am trying to replace. They are basically soft poly bushings Pfadt sourced for the application rather than making a custom piece to keep costs down. Here they are assembled on the mount.
Patches, first off.... Thank you so much. Received the poly bushing yesterday. Very nice of you to do that.
As far as which bushing it is, it's without a doubt the stiffer poly bushing. It is identical to the "Firm" bushing that comes with the Pfadt mount. I picked up a lightly used mount several months back. It included what the original owner said was everything from Pfadt, A "Firm" and "Soft" center bushing. He had the soft bushing installed for about 3000 miles, at least what he said. I pulled the bushing out to compare to the others and it is more like a firm rubber vs a stiff poly. At least how it feels. The softer one Pfadt supplied with their mount is definitely a softer compound.
Good info in this thread thanks! Did you find/look for a replacement bushing for the 2 outers by chance?
I figured it would be easy to find something similar in a poly bump stop search.
This one is pretty frickin' close. Think the Pfadt is 1" tall. Shim it and you are good.
This was a quick search so I'm sure we can find an exact size match with a bit more searching.
