Default Vibration issue

Developed a vibration in the Vette today. It seams to be in the back and I can feel it start at 60 MPH. It's kind of a pulsing vibration and can feel through the seat. Possible wheel bearing perhaps? I don't know

Could be a number of things. CV Joint, wheel weight, Hub assy,, bent rim or bad tire.

Jack the rear and grab the rear wheel at 3-9 and 6-12 O clock and see if there is any lost motion/free play. Shouldnt be any.

Run the engine up to 40 mph and see if there is any wobble or off vibrations.

Year and miles of/on the vehicle? T-tube couplers could be on their way out. I'd say it likely wheel weights that came off. If its a sudden thing, only at high speed, and is a clearly rotational pulsing feeling vibration.

97 C5 with only 64K miles on it.

I can only feel the vibration when going 60 or faster, not sure if I am describing it correctly but its pluses. Its there for a few seconds and then gone for a second and then its there for a few seconds. The interval does not increase with speed as well just get stronger.

Strange...

Just checked the wheel hub and both appear to be good, no movement what so ever. I also checked to make sure the weights are still are still on the wheel and they are... like I said strange

is there away to check the T Tube Coupler? or di I need to take it to a shop for this.

I have the same pulsating (on/off) vibration that it seems you are describing at any speed above 35 or 40 or so. However, when I am driving down the road and turn the wheel to the right, the vibration goes away. When I turn the wheel to the left, it gets worse, its almost like it is a constant vibration. This leads me to believe that it is a wheel bearing on the right side but I have checked all 4 (the 12/6 and the 3/9 position, yanking on the tire in opposite directions of each other) wheels but the bearings feel fine, no movement.

Does yours do the same thing? I'd like to see what other member's comments are on your thread that may help my issue as well. Thanks!

Have not driven the car since Saturday, I don't remember if it went away when turning. I will have to check that out and get back to you.
