Once the dust settles and I get the most urgent items addressed I'll be all over those new $100 Z06 rear shocks and planning for the new fronts.
First up: hood struts,oil/filter change, radiator flush if needed and a massive detail job. Gotta score a stock stereo too, but not sure just yet which unit I'll want. Stereo option UNO looks good and basic, which is fine..AM/FM/CD Stereo..
I'm not certain which stereo option my car came with and I haven't looked for a CD stacker in the back yet. Oh well, the one thing I do have plenty of is...Time.

Check the option codes sticker inside your glove box door.
"ULO" = AM/FM Cassette
"UNO" = AM/FM CD
"U1S"= 12 disc CD changer
Replaced my stock shocks on my 98 Vert with C5Z06 shocks. Compressed them against the concrete on my driveway and used 2 zip ties per shock to keep them compressed. McRat method is the way to go.
Don't have to remove anything except old shocks and install new ones.
Took a couple hours but not hard at all.
I have both cd and tape units in the garage.When you are ready for one just PM me and we will see if we can work up a deal!
Finally got around to looking in the back of my car. There's a 12 CD changer back there not connected to anything, don't know which stereo unit goes with the 12 CD changer. Anybody know ?

Pretty sure both did.
Like I said earlier, the option code sticker inside your glove box door lid will show what the car came with.
Btw, since you have the CD changer, which was an option, chances are your car came with the CD player.

Reason: add info
Yes I see option code UIS on my sticker, which stock in-dash unit would be correct ?
aha.. I see a ULO on my sticker also, evidently the unit that came with a cassette player (which I don't really need or want)..guess I could get any of them to work.
btw the ULO on my sticker is an "O" with a slash mark through it.
