Default Starter Install

I'm installing new starter today also installing new 02 sensors as well.

Should I replace crankshaft position sensor since starter is coming out ?

This guy mentions it in his install.

I personally wouldn't. Mine is over 12 yrs old and no issues. I may not have kept up, but I haven't heard of them having a big failure rate.

It's a very robust part. No moving parts, etc.

The CPS is a bit of a pain in the **** to get to.

1)put car on jack stands
2)shoulder walk in under the car
3)realize you left the tools on the bench
4)drop the eff bomb a few times
5)shoulder walk out
6)shoulder walk back into position
7)remove H pipe
8)remove O2 sensor (it hard to remove the wires on the solenoid with the O2 sensor in the way...for me it is anyway)
9)remove starter

Since you won't be in there often, might as well freshen up the CPS...do you really want to go back in there if it fails?
