I have a 2002 with intermittent dock lock problem. Pressing button on door or key fob it sometimes does not work ,there is a clicking sound when pressed. Any info would be useful. Thanks, Ron
door control module needs to be replaced or repaired. Remove the module from the door that is experiencing the issue and send it out to ABS Fixer. Do a google search for them, Brandon Hite is the guys name.
You need to remove the door panel and try and see what is going on. If you hear a clicking sound then the LDCM relay should be activating but the switch contacts could still be bad.
It could also be the lock/unlock motor is going bad or the latch mechanism is having some issues. Here is how to remove the door panel so you can do some inspections. If you are not sure if the motor/latch is good or bad you can jumper power directly to the motor. Test the mechanism both ways. Positive on one pin and negative on the other. Just reverse the polarity to make the motor turn the other way.
I also have the relay part numbers if you need them.
