New tensioner?
Took my 02 Z06 to the track Friday night and while I was in line for my 4th run I found the main belt had come part way off the pulleys and shreaded one side of it. I got it back on and didn't do any more runs. That happened last time I was at the track also (about a year ago). I never have a problem with it on the street, so I am thinking it isn't an alignment issue. I have a Maggie TVS 2300 on the car also. Just wondering if I should put a new stock tensioner on or if there is an aftermarket with more spring tension that I should replace it with.

I don't know if they make a stronger one but I would check the alignment still just to be 100%..http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-f...lternator.html
