Tach misbehaving
Searched all the C5 tach threads and didn't find a solution for my problem.
Changed out my battery after 10 years (2004 C5) and all of a sudden the tach is acting funny. Engine and ignition off tach reads 0. Start engine and tach jumps to about 2000 and sits there until I rev it up. It will go up but jerky like and may not come down. When driving it seems to work okay until I stop and try reving it up and then the same issue happens. Shut the engine off it goes to 0. Any ideas???
