Having an alignment done on my 97 coupe and was wondering what the general consencious on specs were. I use the car as a daily driver in the summer and dont do any road racing. Just the occaisional street race here and there. Any suggestions welcome!
Re: ???suggestions for alignment specs???? (abraham)
When I had my car lowered 1/2" I had my mechanic use alignment specs halfway between C5 and Z06 specs. The car handles like a dream. I would have gone with full Z06 specs if I was running non-runflat tires (Z06 specs work best if your tires have some sidewall flex).

Even for the street I would go with one degree negative camber front and rear, stock caster setting, zero toe in the front and 1/4 inch toe-in for the rear.

I have p-zeros, so I should go with full z specs then?
Yes, you can and should run Z06 specs if you have non-runflats. Your tires will wear quicker but its a huge increase in handling/feel of the car from what I've been told. You can only do this on non-runflats, runflats cann't handle the negative caliber in the specs.
