my new setup: 275/60/15 - 720 revs/mile
185/55/17 - 806 revs/mile
difference, 86 revs/mile
Thats a quite a big difference is the amount of tire revolutions per mile.. I am worried that this will affect my ABS system while braking.. Or my traction control system if it is enabled.. Any input on this would be great. thanks.
Appreciate all the input.. I was pretty worried this weekend but I put on about 200 miles for our annual Ice Cream Cruise and had absolutely no issues with traction control or abs. Maybe itll throw a light soon, maybe it wont!
why would you even turn the system on with that tire combo? i doubt you're driving a drag package hard in corners so you won't need active handling. you should have more traction than you need on the street so you won't need traction control.

I dont drive with it on normally, my main concern with this entire post was pretty much my ABS, which I feel is still important to have working properly.

abs shouldn't be impacted with the system off. just to get a feel for what the car does, i would find a nice open area. get the car up to 60mph and just plow the brakes and see how it behaves. then you'll know what the car does

Yeah I know turning it off wont impact the abs.. My first post today was just thanking those guys for the input and stating that nothing got messed up by the tire combination for whatever reason..
