Default Smoking problems

I have a c5 with a 408 and twin turbos. Driving around it's fine just smokes a little when u take off sometimes. But under boost it smokes pretty good. Then continues to smoke a lil after boost. I did a compression test. 121-130 across the board I'm at 8.5:1 so 124 would be ideal "according to a chart" . I'm wondering could it be valves. I just wanna make sure before I tow it 10 1/2 hours. Any help would be great.

Make sure that your intercooler isnt full of oil. Most have a water/oil drain on the bottom of the lower part of the cooler.

I had a volvo that had half a quart of oil in the intercooler and it did the same thing. Smoked under full boost but no other time

Do you have a vented PCV system?

If you have oil in the intercooler, check the turbos for an oil seal leak. You will see more oil in the outlet pipe on the turbo that leaks oil

If you are getting smoke during boost it could be a) bad turbo b) problem with oil return to the engine. That could be scavenge pump issue or line issue. Are turbos front mount or rear mount?

They are front mount. Yea maybe I should take the pump off and look at it.
