Sway bar part # help!
OK, I think I figured out my problem with my Z51 upgrade of sway bars. I installed #10424741 and it makes contact with the lower A arms in both front sides. I found on this site some part #'s and it says that this is for 00-02 models. Is this right? What is the correct # for a 99 A4 coupe with the base suspension to upgrade to the Z51? Anyone need the bigger bar if this is the wrong one? Thanks,Phil

hmm... I don't know about the part numbers, but I wonder if newer end links would give you more clearance. I know that there was a change in the end links between different years. I believe the end link material changed from some type of plastic to steel. I'm not sure if there was any change in length. I suppose its possible that GM changed the geometry of the bar, but I don't know why they'ed do that. I bought a Z06 sway bar kit from Fitchner Chev but found I had the same end links the kit came with. So I have new endlinks that you could try. Send me email if you'd like to try them.
