Default MPP on a C5?

Has anyone tried to mod MPPs to fit their C5? I would love to run these but don't know if it can be made to fit? Not sure what is different about the C6, all I can figure is the hatch isn't as deep as on the C5.

MPP? Do you mean NPP (butterfly valves in exhaust)?

C6 mufflers will not fit under a C5 without cutting out the trunk floor hole. I think B&B makes a dual mode setup called the Fusion that can do a by-mode exhaust... otherwise i would suggest a electric cutout for the exhaust.

I have B&B Bullets, LTs, no cats. Very loud especally when in boost I just bought a set of TIs to put back on since I put mine on the wife's 99 coupe. I'm just afraid that it will be to mild for me. I'm not looking to put over $1K in a system like the fusion. I may have to go with cutouts, I just hate the idea of cutting the TIs. Seems to me the NPP is the best of both, don't know why anyone would take them off but seems like many do. Not going to cut my trunk out though

Cutouts are a good solution. Hated selling mine but it was necessary to get my new setup right.

They do have a C5 kit to add the ability to open/close valves in the exhaust like the NPP. Too much coin IMO but I would love to have them
