new exhaust system
Does anyone know anything baout the new exhaust system lingenfelter is using on their cars? I was up their Fri, and for the life of me, can't remember the name. It was 3 or 4 letters? John walked in and I guess I was focusing too much on what he said. It looked a little like the Borla stinger system.

Probably the new GHL sysyem. Same design as the Borla Stingers, but fully polished, 3 tip choices, and a bit more $. I think LAPD is the first vendor to have them in stock, they posted some videos a week ago or so.

I believe you are refering to GHL Ehaust System.I installed this system a week ago on my 99.It sounds real nice,until you accelerate,then it really sounds like a high powered vehicle should sound.If you decide to purchase this system,I don't think you will be sorry. I don't know if its my imaginationor I am getting used to the sound but it seems to have gotten quieter now that I have a few hundred miles on the mufflers.I also installed a Magnaflow x-pipe. :chevy :chevy :flag :chevy :chevy

Well while we're on the subject, Shawn posted that he was working with GHL to get 4 cannon sized tips equally spaced out back on the GHL.

GHL is working on a 4" bullseye tip that will be done in about a month.
I got GHL to design it for us and they are working on the tooling and jigs as we speak.
Those tips will be huge cannons and they will look very mean!
We will post with pics and updates as soon as they are done and on our car.
