After hearing the opinon of those on this forum, I'm getting the TC as a mandatory first mod. Think I might go with the Yank SS 3200. I don't plan on switching my gears. Happy with the 3.15 for now.
Anyway - I have enough spare cash to get something else modified on the car at the same time. Should I go with cam's? If so, I was looking at MTI's B1 cam since Im sticking with stock heads. Or should I do headers first?
Anyone know average installation time on a cam kit?
My only CURRENT mods are blackwing intake and slp LM exhaust.
Re: Getting Torque Converter. Headers or Cam next? (2000^C5)
My 2 cents, but if you haven't reprogrammed your PCM yet, I would recommend that. Some of the benefits are lower turn on fan temps, firmer shifts, improved timing and fuel curves! :yesnod:
Re: Getting Torque Converter. Headers or Cam next? (Speide)
Agree. As much as possible, and especially if your paying to have the work done, mods done in groups is most cost effective. Speide's groupings as an example.
