DIC Message: SERVICE VEHICLE SOON??
Guys,
Just fired up the beast and saw the SERVICE VEHICLE SOON message. What's up with that? I'm guessing it's because my car is fast approaching 20,000 miles. Car has been running fine since I got it (it's a '99) and everything checks out OK now. Should I take action? What have other members done at 20,000 miles? What is recommended service for 20,000 miles?

I have the same issue--my car is at 19,500 miles. Can I avoid a trip to the Dealer. My car is now far from stock and received a new motor at 14,000 miles.

Did you pull codes? Did you get gas recently? Is your gas cap on tight? Clear the message (disconnect the neg. bat. cable, if necessary) and see if it returns. :)
