You also need to shave a couple hundred Lbs. and the Z06 suspension has completely different sway bars/springs/shocks and alignment specs and pretty red calipers. You may want to consider changing out the rear to a 3:73 VS. the MN12 less work and about 95%+ the =.
At XTREME we are attempting a GP for the 3:73 rear it should be around 1600???? a MN12 is about 2000+ maybe upwards of 2500 not sure .I will tell you the Gertrag 3:73 will make quite a change in throttle response and the MN6 has traction advantages over the 1st 3 gears on the mn12 which IMHO hurt hook up except for the most seasoned race shifters.
If you have an auto the addition of a Vigilante or Yank is down right FUN and sick.
Just some food for thought.Dave S. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

I just looked that up with a friend of mine about a week or so ago, There were only, approximately 25% of the Camaro's built in 02 that had the LS6 installed...Thats an awesome find I am sure that had the Dealerships known about it they would have tried to charge more. Dirty *** crooks.

^ It's illegal (federal crime) to bring old threads back from the crypt. The punishment is similar to grave robbing.

The mods will be along shortly to lock this **** down I'm sure...

With that being said, '01 f-bodies had a 15% chance of an LS6 block and '02 f-bodies had a 25% chance.

All water under the bridge since 4th gen f-bodies have been dead for 8 years and this being a Corvette forum wouldn't you say?

Well Maybe the Mods need to make that date font just a little brighter, Something that stands out a bit more because I can't see that crap. This is lie the 3rd time I have hit an old post because
#1 CF is not cleaning up there site.
#2 I dont pay attention.
#3 I was right 25% because he had a 2002.

Peace Josh.

Thats a good one.. You see I also think that some posts there should be no issue witih revisiting, It puts us in touch with the older Vette crowd and hay man some people dont know certain things,,I thought all F bodies were strictly LS1's, I think it is awesome they snuck some in on the SS's, Now here is a question I have, about that , Did they also come with the Intake heads and cam as the 01 Vette, and thats why some of these F bodies are so sick??
