HELP: TCS codes and electrical interference through the radio.
About 20 mins later into the drive the car threw the following codes and also started to get intermittent alt whine/electrical feedback through the aftermarket radio/amp/speaker combo.
The codes are as follows:
TCS - C1232 H C (wheel speed sensor)
TCS - C1281 H (Steering Sensor Uncorrelated Malfunction)
TCS - C1283 H (excessive time to center steer)
TCS - C1284 H (lateral accel sensor)
I have tried to clear the code out but I won't let me, and they instantly come back.
Again, the car was totally fine before the drive. About 1 hour into the drive the pump/fuel got hot and started screaming like crazy. Shortly after that it threw the codes and I'm now receiving intermittent electrical noise through the stereo.
THOUGHTS OR PLACES TO START?

Ok...so I got the car up on my lift last week and did some poking around to see if perhaps it had fallen down again after making my run at the track or during the drive. It didn't...so I turned my attention to the left front wheel sensor (one of the codes it threw) and I'll be damned it the harness pigtail wasnt just hanging there unplugged! I KNOW it wasnt like this before I left. I'm thinking that during the street driving the suspension must have flexed in just the right way for the harness to get caught on the lower ball joint (or something down there) and actually pulled the plug right out of the sensor. I plugged it back in, cleared the codes and it was all set.
SO, ONE PROBLEM DOWN.
While taking the car on a short test drive it throw the code for the "Lateral acceleration sensor". Having had the entire interior out for the 8.50 cage I know this sensor is no longer mounted flat on the floor. Could that be the issue there? Does it need to be mounted flat for it to work correctly?
Also, while poking through the wiring in the passenger footwell I noticed that the aftermarket radio would turn on and off. I redid all of this wiring and it seems to have cure SOME of the electrical noise. The low tones it was producing are no longer there, so that wiring was obviously an issue.
However, randomly I am now getting the high pitch "alternator whine" through the speakers. It comes and goes with no real rhyme or reason that I've been able to track to this point. The fuel system remains the same, and the pump isn't as loud as it was during the street drives on Drag Week. The temps here are much cooler though. I assume the pump is still toast and on its way out which would cause an excess load on the electrical system.
From what I understand this CAN cause the intermitent alt whine....correct?
