Motor Mount Question
Quick question. Are all C5 motor mounts hydraulic or are some solid rubber? I havent seen any fluid leak from mine and they looked fine when I had the motor out 6 months ago or so. I have a cammed motor that shakes pretty good so its hard to tell if theyre worn I guess. Just wondering because Ive seen solid rubber and fluid filled oem replacements.
And yes I am aware of other aftermarket solid replacements. Just curious about the stock ones. Thanks.

Yep, I ordered the SR part number, for Solid Rubber. Took them out of the boxes and shook them, I could hear liquid sloshing around inside. I called Summit and they actually sent a guy down to the warehouse to shake the rest of them--all of the ones that were supposed to be solid rubber sloshed. Awesome support from Summit, but junk parts. I don't know if it's a bad batch or what. I'd call them first before ordering to see if they've fixed the issue.
FWIW, I quit messing with Anchor and ordered brand new OEM hydraulic mounts. They don't slosh at all. So they must be completely filled with liquid, while the Anchor mounts must have some air in them that allows the liquid to slosh around.
