Default OBXheaders w/high flow cats&x-pipe

Any feed back on OBX headers with high flow cats &x-pipes would be appreciated. Good or Bad responses. I'm thinking about making a purchase and I would like some honest input either way good or bad. Before I place an order.

I would like to know also. I have read a few complaints about them not being what they were supposed o be on ebay. The same ebay sells the Maximizer brand stuff too with the same complaints.

cheap brittle chinese stainless steel, crack easy and don't fit right on most cars

Thats what I thought. I really want to put an exhaust on my 97 but I am going to hold out save up around 1600 then get something that I can do the headers and everything back to go with the Vararam cai & power duct I just put on. I had a really bad experience on my 72 c3 with the pro comp chinese cylinder heads a few years ago the guy that built my engine tried to sneak in on me. Not an experience I care to relive.

Just finished installing a set on my Harley F-150.What a pain!Nothing lined up or fit like it should.Alot of work that shouldn't have to be done. They work but that's about it.Save yourself ALOT of trouble and spend the extra money to get a quality set.

Ive installed several sets on multiple vehicle variations and had nothing but good luck. I had a set on my old TBSS and used them for 3 years and they are still alive on another persons vehicle to this date. The fitment was great on every application. We have used them on C6s, TBSS, G8s and a 135i.

you can get the full LG street header package without cats for 12 or with for 14, a used z06 catback for 300-400

probably the least expensive way to do quality. if you save your stock parts you can also pull them off when you go to sell the car. this means you'll get your money back on the z06 exhaust and only take a few hundred dollar hit on the headers

Thanks, I have had my eye on the LG package wo cats. I am about 2 months away from doing it. My c3 m20 conversion is almost done so once I get it finished I will be in a better position so I wont have to put cheap stuff on it as I do not plan on selling it. I was going to sell it for a flip as I only gave 8k for it but it has grown on me.

I wouldn't put it on after reading what other people have said about them. There is a guy out in CA that has a used set of Kooks headers w 3" x pipe for 749 on ebay. If I had the $$ right now I would be buying those. Just letting u know in case u want to go that route.
