Squeak or binding noise at low speed

I've got a 99 coupe, 6 speed with 92K on the clock. Yesterday I noticed a squeak or binding noise coming from underneath the car when I roll to a stop (with brakes off), and then again when starting out after a stop. The noise seems to be timed with the rotation of the tires, but occurs more than once in each 360 degree tire rotation. The car just came out of the shop last week for an oil change and brakes were ok. Could the noise be a bad CV joint?

Bad CV joints usually click. I have seen the center cap retaining rings move and squeak. Have someone walk next to the car and listen for it.

Thanks, will do.

I just noticed that it only makes the noise when the car is rolling forward. I stopped on a hill and let the car roll backwards a few times and no squeak noise.
