Default Lowering my 2001 C5

Thinking about lowering my C5 for autoX racing, is there a place to find out how to do this and how much to lower the car and any effects on the alignment of the car, will this benefit the abilities of AutoXing

All info is appreciated Thank You

As far as lowering the car, just search... There are like Eleventythousand threads like this with pictures.

Regarding handling, I lowered my bolt on c5 about 3/4" off the fender 1" rear on some 18" 295 BFG kdw2 gforce street tires.. It handled very good on a windy, lowers the center of gravity which is always good while not compromising shock recovery or driveablility. I would get it realigned, 4 wheel digital, if you are trying to autoX it.

If you lower it get used to the lower valence scraping on slight inclines and remember "angles" when pulling OUT or IN anywhere.

If there is a smashed beer can in the road, my valence will carry it a little ways.
