Default Borla vs Stock

If I trade my Borla cat backs for Stock exhaust am I going to loose any performance?

I freaking hate the drone.

2000, A&A Super Charger, Steel Works Long tube, no cats.

I cannot find the exact same exhaust on Borla website.
I have what looks like a muffler under the center of the car behind the cats,
the pipes that run up over the axle and single tips.

It looks like a Borla x pipe and muffler in one.

Thanks

You have a power adder. SO,, Yes but not too much. If it were me,,,, I would just find a nice set of ZO6 Ti mufflers. That way, you will loose little if any.

The ZO6 muffler is almost a flow thru chambered muffler.

There are many 600+ Hp C5s running them without issue. The look very nice, Dont rust and weigh 25 lbs less than C5 Stock mufflers.

They can be had used for $300-$400 bucks.

Here is whats inside one:

If its a real C5 Ti System, it will look like this:

and have this on the muffler:

If you HATE the drone like most people do,, Its a NO BRAINER!

Another option would be to get the set up like you showed in the picture which will help reduce the drone, The mufflers that you have are just resonators. You need to add mufflers like the example that you provided.

I replaced my Borla Quad Tip Stingers with Z06 Ti's & really like the results. Good price, sounds good, no drone, & no detectable power loss.
