Mine has titanium retainers and am curious if that is enough to raise the rev limiter over stock? Or should I get new springs altogether?
Just curious, why didn't they change out your stock springs when they put in the titanium retainers?
I just found out yesterday that they did also replace the stock springs. Not just the retainers. Sorry about the incorrect post.
BTW, my rev limiter is now set at 6500. :D
I have an upgraded valvetrain and cam. I set it to 6800 and my shift light to 6500. Whats suprised me is that with the engine accelerating that fast I have trouble shifting 1st to 2nd during the 300rpm window. I used to shift at 6000 with a 6200 rev limit and never hit the limiter.
At this RPM I'm concerned about my rod bolts. I might put in ARP's this winter.
