drag radials/broken cv shaft
Hi,
I have run my car for the first time on a drag radial and broke my right cv shaft.
Car is a 99 m6 with just under 400 whp and weighs 3000lbs.(lightened)
I ran a 12.39 @115 mph with a cold drag radial 2000 rpm launch and a 1.9 60 foot time.
I then heated up the tires and tried a 3500 rpm launch and the car moved about 2 feet and stopped moving. It appears that the right cv joint broke on the inside at the inboard joint.
My question is what is the best replacement joint and how do I launch it without breaking parts.
