Rear Differential mount broken.

Rear Differential mount broken.
I need some advice on replacing a rear diff. mount on a 2001 C5 auto trans. , and what all is involved from anyone who has done this. I have searched yout tube but have no come across any vids.

pretty simple, just put the rear on jackstands, remove the 2 nuts under the cradle, remove the 2 bolts holding the mount to the diff, use a jack with a piece of wood under the trans to jack the diff up high enough for the studs to clear the cradle... I have the stock mount I removed from my car if you need one, just cover the shipping... out of curiosity, what exactly broke and how did it happen?

I have been kicking that mount around my garage for the past few years and couldn't throw it away and thought I might have finally found a use for it
... good thing you caught it, if you drive the car hard that could cause some serious drivetrain shake then you might be replacing the trans or diff instead of just the mount

Yeah , that is the first order of business to repair. The display for the HVAC dosent work , and the right headlight motor continues to run for a few seconds after the light goes down. The motor appears to be loose. Thanx for the help!!!

the hvac display can probably be fixed be resoldering a few things inside of it and it sounds like one of the headlight gears are out which many of us have replaced with brass gears... both are very common issues and not hard to fix, there is a lot of info on here to help you repair them

I'm holding off on the HVAC controls till I'm ready to do a radio swap and speaker upgrade. I nedds some thump!!!
