C-5 TECH?
Just installed a new engine. It ran fine for a few days and now every few miles it shows reduced engine power and barely runs. I reset the codes and it runs fine for awhile and then does it again. Can you help? :cry

The 1516 code indicates a fault in the "drive by wire" circuit,which will cause the reduced power of course. :yesnod: I would suspect a problem related to the TPS sensor or throttle actuator control.Check the wiring and connectors to both considering the motor was out...
The 1278 code simply means that the traction control was disabled due to the fault causing the 1516 code :yesnod: and doesnt indicate a problem with the traction control.
