Any problems with Redline fluids for Tranny and Diff ?
I'm looking at using Proline fluids next week, just wanted some additional feed back on likes, dislikes, leaks etc. From what I read most are impressed with what it has done for the MN6......
My mistake, Redline fluids.... Man I must be working toooo much... :jester
Re: Any problems with Proline fluids for Tranny and Diff ? (evil-1)
Differential already has synthetic in it. If you replace be sure to use GM additive if your lubricant doen't contain a friction modiflier for positraction clutches.
Be aware that sometimes changing differential fluid causes low speed clunking which can not be solved without going to conventional lubricant with friction modiflier. The owner's manual says it never needs changed, so I left it alnog. Did put Mobil one in 6 sp trans.
