Default brake fluid reservior leaking

Looks to me that there are tiny stress cracks on the brake fluid reservoir, on the top, and brake fluid residue on the horizontal seam, wiped away about a month ago and residue is back. Has anybody changed their reservoir and are they available? Any insight would be great.

Literally just went through this and repaired today. I couldn't find just the reservoir by itself, so I bought a used master cylinder/reservoir Assembly off eBay for $35, removed the reservoir from the master cylinder of the used part by hammering the pin on the bottom center until it no longer held the reservoir (you do not need to mess with the front pin as you can maneuver the reservoir enough to separate from master cylinder), pull up pretty hard and the reservoir will pop out. On your car, pump fluid out of the reservoir, hammer center bottom pin as you did for used part, unplug plug, remove, and reverse process for installation.

Hope this helps and makes sense

Yes, it's perfectly clear and thanks for the install info. Don't know how you couldn't find the new kits on ebay, they are available. 125 for my 99, the reservoir, o rings and pins. Pricey, but not to crazy, at least you can still get them.
