Default Right Mass Airflow Sensors?

Hi guys,

I bought a Vararam VR-B2 and Powerduct so I need a new Mass Airflow Sensors for cold air. My car is a 2000 C5 Convertible, which Mass I need?

On Granatelli Motor Sports website I found this one:

http://granatellimotorsports.com/pro...ng-171-33.html

But is not clear if it works on a 2000C5, in the title is written 00-04 while in the description 01-04.

Do you have any idea on which Granatelli Mass is good for my 2000 C5 and works with Vararam?

Probably this is the right one? It fits 2000 Corvette C5 and works with cold air induction system.

Why do you think you need a new MAF? Many people have a VaraRam and didn't replace the MAF. Is the one you have broken?

I wouldn't waste money for something that is not needed. Use the stock MAF and spend the money for a good mail order tune. East Coast Supercharging did mine after the VaraRam install and I couldn't be happier. No codes, just runs good. Unless you have other mods it would be money wasted IMHO. Just my $.02. Call VaraRam Industries and ask them if they recommend replacing the MAF...

I didn't know it wasn't useful. If I I will install it I must tune the ECU or the Vette is able to recognise it?

What would you suggest me to buy at its place for increase performances? I already have a Corsa exhaust..

Your current MAF is good for 450 rwhp, adding different one is not going to make any difference. The reason you would benefit from a tune is you have eliminated the accordion style coupler and colder more dense air is going to the engine than stock. The firmware in you PCM looks for airflow from the accordion coupler and the cooler air is putting a cooler, more dense air to mix with the injectors. A good tune accounts for those changes and allows you to benefit from the add-ons.
