enigne issues need HELP!
Now the issue, I had a LS performance shop here in NC build a 408. I now have roughly 600 miles on the motor and new setup. It started knocking. After pulling the motor we pulled the pan and seen this.

The shop said that the converter was pushing on the crank causing the issue. So I trying to see if anyone else has ever had that issue or heard about it.

Please post more pictures of the upper and lower halves, front and back. 600 miles isn't much for damage that severe. If there wasn't enough clearance the sides won't get lubricated properly.
Did you do the engine and driveline install? Was there anything unusual? It's hard to believe a torque converter mounted 4' from the rear of the engine would cause this failure. People with m6's run hd clutches without thrust bearing failures.
