Default Code help

Hi guys and Happy New Year.

Just looking for some opinions:

Throwing a PO155C code - P0155 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Heater Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 1

I know thats the sensor before the cats / passenger side.

I'm just wondering what the code actually means -
No headers on this car / just a Corsa Extreme at this point -
I can clear the code - cleared started the car and it was ok for maybe 5 minutes - showed up again cleared it again and as of last night did not come back. I'm about to go out and check again now.

I've checked the #15 fuse already - and that looks fine.

Is the general consensus to replace all 4 sensors? and any ideas what this error actually means?

I originally put this in General Section and that may have been a mistake so my apologies,

Thanks in advance

With a little more research I may have answered my own question - my assumption is I need to replace it Found this thought I would share.

What does that mean? This code refers to the front oxygen sensor on Bank 2. The heated circuit in the oxygen sensor decreases time needed to enter closed loop. As the O2 heater reaches operating temperature, the oxygen sensor responds by switching according to oxygen content of the exhaust surrounding it. The ECM tracks how long it takes for the oxygen sensor to begin switching. It the ECM determines (based on coolant temp) that too much time elapsed before the oxygen sensor began operating properly, it will set P0155. See also: P0135 (Bank 1). Potential Symptoms You will likely notice poor fuel economy the illumination of the MIL. Causes A code P0155 may mean that one or more of the following has happened: O2 Heater element resistance is high Internal short or open in the heater element O2 heater circuit wiring high resistance open or short to ground in the wiring harness Possible Solutions Repair short or open or high resistance in wiring harness or harness connectors Replace oxygen sensor (cannot repair open or short that occurs internally to sensor)

So I cleared the codes - fired it up and took it for about a 45 minute drive.
No code- I was always was under the impression that if an 02 sensor was bad it was just plain bad and not an intermittent problem.

If anyone has any opinions or ideas I would love to hear what you guys think.

i am by no means an expert but can share info that i do know. the o2 is not the only device giving the signal to the ecm ie converter as well. i have seen testing them either completely fail or in most cases when a car has 100k the probe builds up with soot and slows down the response time which also gives bad mileage.
