Coupe/Vert Sun Visor difference?

Coupe/Vert Sun Visor difference?
I've seen a few old for sale threads on here that specify that they are either selling coupe or convertible sun visors for a C5. There's a pair on Ebay I'm considering buying right now that specify that they came off of a coupe.
I doubt the sun visors would be different for a coupe or a convertible, but then again... I'm new to being a Corvette owner and it's not the first thing I've seen that would make me go... "huh?" (i.e. - the flap of fabric above the waterfall that's designed to flap around & block the rear window when the windows are down.)
So - as far as y'all know, are the sunvisors coupe/convertible specific? Or am I just reading into the ads too much? I am a woman, so reading too much into things is kind of a constant thing in my life. I've seen a few people ask for the difference between the two in the classifieds ads, but they've not gotten an answer.

Quick look at my parts book and there seems to be a dozen or so different ones for various years and styles (GM codes).
What year is yours and I will try and figure out what the codes mean.

I bought mine off of ebay a few years ago. They were new aftermarket and they didn't say they were for a coupe or vert. I just thought they were the same. The one I bought fit correctly. Don't know what happened to that supplier, seems to have dried up. If you buy used make sure to ask if they have floppy ends. Just because they look good laying on a table don't mean they're in good shape. YES there are people out there that sale junk, buyer beware.

well i looked @ Eckler's site since they offer new C5 sun visors and it listed 97-99 as having a different part # than the 00-04's, and it was the same part # for coupes and convertibles. While I'm not completely satisfied with that answer, I'm tired of shopping for used sun visors and at least have a little piece of mind that I can return the sunvisor to them if it doesn't fit correctly and match the passenger side one.

My info shows the right side is the same for all 99s. The left side has two entries like 98. Both show the same part number but one says with 1 inch retainer pin and the other one says 2.5 inch retainer pin. Go figure that.
Appears like in 2000 and on they only used a 1 inch retainer.
