LS6 intake
are the 2001 LS1 intake the same as the LS6/Zo6 intake? I have a 2000 Corvette Hardtop and my father ordered a Zo6 intake for his 2001, would I gain anything from installing his intake on my car?

Same thing 2001 ls1/ls6 intakes are the same.If you are stock won't do a whole lot but if you are going to do H/C or SC will let the motor breath better as long as you do the other usual mods.

'01 is the changeover from LS1 to LS6 intakes on all models.If it is already ordered get your Dad to put it on your '00 and then do a B-wing or a Rammer
and then it will start to help that motor breath a lot easier and better up in the altitude.

Jerry, Thank you for the info. He has already ordered it so I will find out what he wants to do. I have a Blackwing, new air bridge, corsa daytona, and magna core plug wires. I will eventually go to bigger and better things when I get the money. Thanks, Kaley
