Door panel 'clips'

My drivers door panel is loose. I looked at the mounted clips and the 'peg' on the door panel is intact but the retainer it plugs into in the door has come out. The fiberglass it mounts into looks like it's stripped out and the hole is too big to keep it retainer in tight. Anyone have a fix? Or is re-glassing that part of the door and drilling a new hole the best option?

check with Marc at Vettenuts, ph: 615 896 6100. Last time I was there he had a bunch of C5 interior door panels.

Try Pep Boys, Autozone and Advance Auto Parts.
They may have some fasteners that will work.

It's not the door panel that's the problem...it's the retainer mounted to the door's inner face.

You could put some type of aftermarket clip on the door to hold the peg but I'd re-glass / shape the portion that's worn out so you can reinstall a OEM female retainer...IMO
