2002 Vette Convertable headlight issue
Hey guys,
My fathers C-5 is having issues with the drivers side pop-up headlight. When they're turned on they both go up, when you turn them off the drivers side goes done the pops right up again.
Any info that would assist woukd be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the bumper stops may be old. Try removing them and rotating to see if that corrects it. There are 4 on each side. When they get too deformed from use they can affect proper operation. Sounds weird but it is true.

Sounds like the arm is slipping past the bump stops. The GM recommended fix is to remove the motor and put a spacer washer on each bolt between the motor and the brace it mounts to. Make sure the arm will hit the steel part under the nylon stop so it can't crush the end of the nylon stop and slip past it.
