2003 C5 OBDII Baud Rate
I'm looking some help with the OBDII connection on my 2003 Z06. I'd like to use it to collect data on track days with out carrying my laptop in the car.
So far I've tried 500K, 250K, 125K, 33K, 33.333K, 20K and 10K with no luck. That is, when I connect to the port and start logging I don't see any CAN bus data like I'd expect.
I tried the same setup on my wife's MB and I started getting data on my first attempt, at 500K, so I know my setup is good.
I'm thinking that I need to do more than just listen on the bus. That is, I need to send out some kind of request before I see any data.
I'm using a Beagle Bone Black Linux computer with a Serial Cape to collect the data. The software I'm using to dump the CAN data is called CAN utils.
