When my c5 is cold it will start up no problem but after it warms up even for just a few minutes it will not start but it will start up no problem if I roll start it has anyone had this issue it's an 02 six speed base model
Time to replace the starter. Could be the solenoid or the starter motor. Just replace them both. When you normally buy a starter it has the solenoid.
What happens is when the starter gets hot (it's attached to the motor and by the exhaust) the internal resistances go up. All starters will eventually do what yours is doing given enough time as the aging process degrades insulation and internals.
