What kind of set up did you do to take place of the CD changer.
Pioneer 6" touch screen dvd player, navi, gps, etc etc, JL audio 12w6 sub, JL 500.1 amp and all JL audio front and rear speakers and of course the modified double din to fit the radio like it came like that from the factory

Call Dennis at Double D... unless your a very picky audiophile, the factory system sounds pretty good IF your not using the FM transmitter. They make a plug and play Peripheral PXDP PXHGM2 Chevrolet Corvette 97-04 iPod Adapter

The other option if you don't want to jack with CD's is get one of those plug in's that you can attach an Ipod or phone by cable to your changer. You can still control it through your stock head in the dash. I love mine and not limited to just the music a the CD's.
That's pretty cool. Might have to check that out. Thanks

But to use this one you have to have the CD changer it just uses the wires from the changer....still plays through the factory head unit...

Yup, it is an awesome place... I would be a C5 idiot if it wasn't for the forum. Have fun and good luck. Call Dennis he is awesome and won't pressure you at all, and will answer any and all questions you might have about audio and what you can do in a C5

There are 4 bolts sticking out from where the brackets were connected to the car. Is there a way to remove those? I don't want to cut them off in case one day I decide to sell the car and return it to stock. (I left the wiring harness for the cd changer for that reason as well.)
