Cam HP difference '99 vs '00
My car is a stock '99. Just recently put in a new "stock" cam/lifters, receipt says cam is for a 2000 vette.
I know they changed cam specs in 2000. Wonder if I picked up 5 hp ?
It is a Mellings cam.

The LS6 intake factory installed on the 2001+ LS1s caused the factory rating to be increased to 350hp.
The factory 2000 LS1 cam did have the highest lift and duration of all of the factory LS1 cams though. And it is my understanding that the 2000 LS1s were underrated by the factory. I wouldn't be surprised if you picked up 5 hp.
