Tired of the smell so I'm adding cats back to my exhaust. I still have the factory ones, should I use those or get a pair of magnaflow high flow cats. Only mods I have is a vararam cai shorty headers ans a dyno tune. If not the stockers then which magnaflow cats? I know the random tech cats are good but I dont see how they could be worth their steep price.
Yep, the stock units are fine for plenty of power. I only replaced mine with some Magnaflows when I put in headers as one of my stock units was faulty. As for fitment, the Magnaflow units are smaller and easier, but obviously the stock fit fine.
Ok sounds good. The stock cats look good no clogging or anything loose. The only part with them I was worried about is the cuts arent exactly straight down from when they were cut off. Im sure they can be welded back on fine but I was concerned with having a leak. They arent botched but they arent completely even cuts.
I would throw on some Magnaflow high flow metallic spun cats but that's just me. I've ran them in many applications and they always worked well and as a 'high flow' cat no need to worry about any noticeable power loss, etc.

I would prefer too but I have the stock ones laying around and Magnaflows are about $100 each.
