electrical issue

My car is in the shop for some work. They called and said all of the sudden my HUD is only showing -- on the display and none of the speedometer, tach and fuel gauges are working. Any ideas?

Sounds like a bus problem, check the two star connectors in the passenger footwell

Please clarify. It sounds like the HUD is fine but the IPC gauges do not work. Does the DIC display work?

It would be helpful if your actually TOLD us what they were doing on your car.

It was a loose connector in the back of the instrument cluster. They found it and everything works now according too them.
