Engine Ticking and Check Engine Light
ISSUE RESOLVED! Loose spark plug wire.
Does anyone know what this may be? Seems to be coming from the driver side head towards the rear.

Not knowing the codes, I was going to say an exhaust leak as a possibility until I listened to the video.
My best guess right now, without codes, is a bad plug or wire or coil. Sounds a lot like a high voltage spark jumping to ground. Engine would have a miss in it.
My next best guess is a bad fuel injector, although I think this is less likely.

It does feel down on power, with a stronger exhaust smell.

Don't drive. Could be a rocker spit bearings or if there was a recent over rev, a bent pushrod. You need to confirm what is going on. May not throw a code unless you have a miss, but then the light would be on or flashing.

Also, good news! Spark plug wire came loose, causing check engine light, misfire, and ticking. Issue resolved.
