Default C6 Seats in a C5 - Controller and wiring

My C5 seats were worn out and having issues, so I bought a set of C6 seats to replace them. I have read a number of posts on here, but most of them say to use the C5 control modules, switches, and rails. Looking through this, my rails need fixed for the rocking, my passenger side control module was not functioning properly, and I do not see how to put the switch on (saw someone used double sided tape, does not sound appealing to me). So my question is, can I just use all the equipment from the C6 (rails, control modules, etc.) and just rewire the C5 wiring onto a C6 harness? The person I bought the seats from included both ends of the seat harnesses. And if so, does anyone have a wiring diagram for the C6 seats? I read somewhere that someone "thought" you could use all the C6 equipment, but it would throw codes, will this cause issues other than codes showing up when cycling through the diagnostics?

Thanks!
