Default Shorty to longtubes question

Just registered so forgive me if wrong section. I own a 99 auto car, FTI 3600 converter,3.15 gear,B&B tri y headers, cat less x, corsa catback, advanced induction ls6 cnc 225cc heads, comp 212/218 521/529 cam, ls6 intake, crane 1.8s, bbk 80 Tb, blackwing cai. My question is am I leaving a lot on the table by the shorty headers being on the car? I know there should be a pile left being that it has a baby cam with the 225cc heads. Any suggestions?

I don't think the headers will make as big a difference as the cam. On a dollar per hp basis, the header upgrade may not be worth the dollars it will cost to change it out. Tri-Y is also a good design. I ran my QTP Tri-Y back to back against another 4 to 1 header and lost power throughout the RPM range so be careful. (I put the QTP's back on the car and they won't come off again).

Oh ok. That's good to know. I just feel like doing both would help it big time. Best time on motor so far is 7.48@92
