I bought a 1996 Z28 when I was 17 which I still own! I purchased my first vette last year at 28. Its a built 1999 FRC torch red. Daily driver is an Acura TL and I finally own a single family home!
My good friend bought a 2001 C5 at 17 in 2003 when we were in high school. I believe he paid around 34k for it at that time. He still owns the car and we usually get the Camaro and the Vette together once a year for a show.
Bought my 99 FRC in cash at age 26 after owning two boosted RSX-S, a 2005 WRX limited, 2004 SRT-4(500whp), 2007 R6, 99 Mustang GT(390whp) in no particular order. Buying the vette was the best decision I have ever made in terms of vehicles now that I fixed the SWPS issue.
Bought my Lisa at 21 and I'm now 24. No plans of selling ever. C5's are the best value of function & form in existence and it's like they were designed to be easily customizable. Targa's have the sexiest B-pillar of all vettes and nothing beats clean smooth lines like a women.
I'm not the youngest (31 now) but here is my list of fun rides
1976 Trans Am - First car still have it bought is when I was 17 in Dec 2001.
2008 S63 - Awesome car (I love big cars, especially pulling them sideways around corners.)
2006 Bentley Continental GT with an upgraded Turbo
2010 CL63 (Favorite car in the world, next to my TA)
2008 C6 (Most fun below 135 MPH and more compliments than I could imagine)
2005 Gallardo (True M6 felt like an old friends hand shake and only car to get more attention then the yellow C6)
2001 Arnage- Terrible car even with the 6.5 "Litre" TT
2010 Porsche Panamara (The only Porsche that my 6'5" will ever fit in to) great car!
2012 BMW M6 - Blah (only good thing it you can completely turn off the traction control.
2010 M5 - SICK *** CAR. Fast *** F*** accidentally ran off the road showing off. The car and everyone was ok. (Long/scary story)
1996 Z28 - Parted out after the kids and I tore it apart. (Long story)
1997 Z28 - T-Tops cant be replaced. NO2 and all the fixins. Hell yes! (My little bro has it now)
1997 C5 - Love it. Great style and I found a gem so I'm back in the Vette world. But no worries, I'm GM for life!
As for the 350Z...I cant believe you guys...that car is terrible. I've driven one before (new) and was not impressed at all.
17 with an 02 Z06, had a 99 coupe at 16, almost had a 04 CE Z16 with 100K miles for $16K, but dealership auctioned it off because it sat on the lot too long.
And when I'm not driving my vette, i drive a 92' Cavalier Wagon lol, not that cool, but beats driving the vette in the rain.
Yep, for sure... but as an original owner of my 02C5Z, I'm glad to have the younger crowd buying (and in many cases restoring) these great cars. I was 33 when I bought mine new, and have no intention of selling it.
My son bought an '07 C6 coupe last year at age 20. Car had 27k miles on it.
So we share in the hobby together.
Thanks to all you young guys buying these cars and living the dream early on. Makes the Vette hobby more fun, IMHO.

You've just listed a bunch of muscle and luxury cars that you claim to really like. No z car is a muscle or luxury car, so if that's what you like, obviously you wouldn't like the z.
