How to install trans shifter boot?
Help Please!
Need to install new leather transmission shifter boot as have hole in original. How do I do it? My car is an automatic.
Anyone ever replaced there?

Is it an auto or manual?
For manual.. You first pry out the shifter indicator tab with a small flat bladed screw driver... the remove the Demon key...video below
Then turn the **** to the left and unscrew it from the shifter lever...
The bottom is a plastic ring, squeeze it and pull up and it will lift out the shifter boot....
