Average cost to replace A4 shift linkage

Inc parts and labor what should the ballpark price be ?

Shift linkage = A/T shift cable? Had mine replaced for $250. Parts & labor.

I purchased the cable from rock auto for 58.99 plus shipping. Labor was calculated at 95/hr x2.... I think 250-300 is about average if you have a shop do it.

I haven't seen it done on a newer Corvette, but how hard can it be? I've replaced the cable and shifter in other cars without too much trouble.

I just had a shop do mine. The total was $288. Sounds like I did OK

If it's just the rubber bushing that failed at the end of the linkage where it attaches to the pin, you can buy shift linkage bushings at any auto parts store for about $5 or $6 and it's an easy fix.
