Has anyone ever replaced thier glove box assembly before? I'm getting ready to do that tonight, and I was curious to see if anyone has gone through the process before. Admittently, I've not taken a good look at it It looks like there is part of the lower dash-pad that goes with it, as well. Any pointers? Thanks!
I've replaced mine , it took about 3hrs . take your time and it will go fine. the glove box is attached to the dash corner piece and you have the light to deal with.

3 hours? Geez... I didn't think it would be that involved! Any pointers or tips you can offer to make it go faster/smoother?
You'll need to remove the two large plastic plugs in the bottom of the glove box to access two 10mm nuts located some distance behind them. You'll need a long extension and a wobble or universal joint for the inboard nut. There are two 7mm screws in the frame at the top of the box opening that need to come out and one on the right side of the dash back by the door pillar. (You'll need to open the door to see it). It has a large washer attached. Then be careful disconnecting the light from the socket at the top. It is on a short lead, at least mine was, so be careful not to drop the glove box assembly before you remove the lamp. That's it, should take about ten minutes to remove it.
