Default getting a new radiator

ok so I know the "____________ vs ____________" topic has come up before in the world of radiators, and I see them all the time regarding the DeWitts and Griffin, as well as the occasional Be Cool

My dad has a DeWitts on his C3 and loves it

Griffin is out of the Question for me, heard too many mixed reviews where the others seem to be better all the way around

what I haven't heard much on is the LG motorsports G2 Super Cool Radiator
I like that it has a built in oil cooler seeing as my oil temps get kinda warm

Whats you'r guys' experience and opinion of the 3
DeWitts
BeCool
G2 Supercool

all would have oil coolers

The car is a 2000 Automatic
pretty stoutly built 427 inch motor

Have had the radiator since Jan. 2010 and then the fans since they became available.
I have the same fans and rad 8VETTE7, cooling a 2004 with STS twins. This setup has worked well. Did have an issue with the rad, developed a small leak where the lower core attaches on both the left and right sides. Shop and Dewitts took care of me under warranty.

whichever brand you decide to use I would get the full size version with no built in cooler for the extra cooling capacity then run an external cooler for your trans/oil/etc if you wish... the built in coolers are fairly small and will not work near as well as a dedicated cooler, on a stock car that is casually driven they may be ok but on a car making some power that is driven hard I wouldn't even think about it

Add Ron Davis to your list of considerations. They are spoken of very highly by many. Personally I have a DeWitts and am happy with it.

Check with them before ordering. DeWitt's runs a sale at least once (maybe twice??) a year. It is definitely worthwhile, with significant savings to be had.

I have a Chinese made Engineered Cooling Products rad on my SC M6 160 thermostat and it has worked great.
Temps usually 190-192 and hardly ever go over 200.
When it's over 90 with the AC on full in stop and go traffic maybe 205-208
Other than one guy who got a bad one then someone else's returned bad one in exchange then got a new one and is now satisfied there haven't been any complaints
They have one for the 97-2000 automatic now for 249.00

I went with Ron Davis.
Love it. Best investment I've made. Just recently did a Head, Cam, intake upgrade.
Car runs Cool. As you can see I got the oil cooler as well. (Helps with Piece of mind of not worrying of overheating.)

Plug n Play. Fits Great!

I have been very happy with my DeWitts radiator. I bought it with the oil cooler but never hooked it up because my oil temps are good without it.

that Ron Davis is a beauty

I'm looking now at having the oil cooler part of the radiator. it'll keep it cooler, but will also let it heat up. we have cold enough winters here that I don't know if my oil would get to a warm enough temp if it had its own cooler

and i'll run the trans on its own cooler
